"Thank Merlin," he began, "For a minute I feared I had to tell Holly that she was going to have competition," a shake of his head, "And to the head of the office at that."

"Naw, only competition she need fear is Benjy," he claimed, making goo-goo eyes at the other and pretending to be on the verge of swooning.

"Well he can rest assure, I'm planning to be here for the long run, not just a little breeze to annoy everyone."

"Next row over Ed, two desks down from this one. All the Intelligence guys are over there. And girls. How did you get into intelligence anyway? Needed a new coffee boy did they?"

"Haven't you heard? Some secretary has believed to be insulted by everyone in the office that he doesn't bring coffee to anyone anymore. They are all about to die without their daily dose of caffeine."

"Not giving much hope to use new folks, Benjy. I was planning on getting you to run over and get me some coffee; my blood's getting too thick."

"I don't mind, though it'd be nice to know someone from the department I'll be working in. Though if Leathan's cubicle is nearer we can always go and see him. I had him in Muggle Defenses too."

Gideon's eyes sparkled behind his lenses at that. His best mate may have cut off from indicating that he'd been all but press ganged into the course, but surely - surely - Benjy had every right to know just what a pansy Eddie almost turned out to be?

Of cousre he did!

Slinging an arm around Eddie's shoulders, he grinned broadly over at the secretary. "And you should have seen the tantrum this one threw at the mere suggestion that he take a class where he might actually break into a sweat and have the potential of walking out with bruises. Ya'd think Quidditch would've given this one more bollocks; ya'd be wrong."
