Legs curled under her, she sat on the chair the secretary had pointed her to and waited patiently for whatever was to happen happen. Sighing, she leaned back into the chair and played with her hat in her lap. If she had any thoughts about turning her back to this internship she had signed-up for they had been firmly abolished at yesterday's meal. Kayt had known since the minute she had dared to cut her hair to above her chin, her grandmother would be going haywire. For once, she didn't feel like adding fuel to the fire that was currently burning inside her grandmother, and sides, she was interested in doing this. Much more interesting than lying in bed all day, not to mention more productive.

Thankfully her father hadn't decided in taking interns this summer, so she was somewhat safe from being supervised by him. Still who knew, she could very well be teamed with someone who worked with him, which was pretty much everybody, or so she kept hearing from him. Sighing, she moved her gaze to the ceiling and would nod when she saw someone she knew.

Finally the time to get admitted inside had comed, and without a second thought as to what the people on the other side of the wall were talking about or who they were, she followed the other interns inside. Once through the door she regretted never paying much attention to who her father talked about or was friends with. Then again, maybe it would have been more akward and uncomfortable for her. Taking the seat closest to her that was available, she kept her mouth shut. After all, wouldn't it be wiser for her to see who was going to be stuck with her for the whole summer before going ahead and end up hitting her nose against a brick wall? Yes it would, and so she was going to keep silent and listen to everyone describe their job.

In this silent movie, there's no talking, you're just an actor
