Once all those taking on interns had had their moment to speak, Rufus cleared his throat as the young St. George entered.

"No worries, young man. Though, I would suggest that you find your own way to your internship for the remainder of the summer," he said not unkindly; it was clear that Rufus didn't give much of a whit about handing out light reprimands in front of others.

"Now, that all have introduced themselves, it's time for assignments," he said, giving a wave of his wand. Slips of parchement appeared in front of each person - those standing found it floating before them - and upon each was the name of the Department and the name of the individual they had been assigned with.

"Well now, we've spent enough time lollygagging about!" he snapped suddenly, giving a sharp clap of his hands. "Interns, the man or woman in charge of you is just that: in charge of you. If you have any grievances, take them up with your pillow at night. Good luck," he said as a final dismissal before he was hefting himself from his chair and heading back to his office to face a litany of owls.

((OOC: Go play! Have fun setting up threads and the like. We're working (the adult characters) on something that might be a bit of fun for later in the summer. Just FYI!))
