Right. Flatmate. Somehow Darby had forgotten (or was just that he was afraid of Athena?) to mention his new living circumstance to the Dragon Keeper who was moving rapidly out of his arms as the door banged open to allow his new flatmate to enter into the room. To be fair, Athena had known that he was flatmateless since Jeremy had left for Liverpool; she'd turned down his offer, as well, to move in with him.

The scars on his torso were a grim remainder of that particular arguement.

He wracked his brain, then, to recall if he'd told River about his girl - he was sure he had. Of course, he probably should have taken more of a point to make sure that he'd taken the time to let Athena know. Though, now it was a bit too late, wasn't it?

"Uh, um...River? Have ya met my girlfriend, Athena? Ath, love," he reached to touch her, "this is River. My flatmate...she, uh, she just moved in. I didnt' get the chance to, uh, tell you yet."
