For a moment he stared at the girl trying to make sense of things before she spoke and his easy grin came to his face. She was tall; taller than most girls he knew. And very pretty. Waving her in, he nodded.

"Ah, yeah, it was a Benjy I spoke with. Threw me off there a bit," he added as he nodded towards the kitchen. "Beer? I've got a couple of Newcastles and one Chimay - there might be a Henekin somewhere in the back, too." At her acknowledgement, he grabbed her a Newcastle, himself grabbing the Chimay.

"So, I suppose I should tell you a bit about me, yeah? I'm Darby Rheese. I'm looking for a new flatmate since my old one left for Liverpool," he said, handing her the Newcastle as he poured his own drink and took a sip. "I'm not the cleanest of people," he added, nodding at the sink full of dishes, "but you give me my space, I give you yours."
