"I'll knock 5 pounds off your half of the rent if you wanna take care of all the cleaning."

River grinned. Money had never really been a concern for her, especially since the divorce, but it was still nice that he was willing to knock that much of her rent. "Sounds like a deal Darby." River was a neat person anyway. And besides, as soon as he left the house, she could do it with magic. It wouldn't take long. Most people, Benjy included, expected River to be a messy person. Which just went to show that you should never judge a book by its cover.

"I can give you some tips."

River sat on the couch beside him, crossing her legs and looking at him. "I have thought about it." She had only taken up smoking since the divorce, so it really wouldn't be too hard to give it up. "Well if you're offering to help me Darby, how can I refuse an offer like that?" River smiled nicely. This was the first apartment she had looked at where she liked the current occupants. She took another slug from the beer, looking around the apartment some more before looking back at Darby. "So Darby, what do you do?"
