Coming to the barbeque thrown by Josh and Leathan had possibly been the brightest idea Eddie had today. Not only did it provide a distraction from work, but it also provided some entertainment. Oh let's not forget the hanging out with friends either. Yet he should have shouted across the courtyard instead of coming to see his old Muggle Defense teacher to announce his presence at the party. It wasn't that he minded the company of Leathan, it's was the cool and slightly frosted bottle that was pressed in his hands. Drink up, lad. It's what a party's all about. Grabbing a hold of the bottle, he smiled and gave one quick glance to the bottle before sighing. "What are the chances of me being allowed a Butterbeer instead?" he asked Leathan. Hadn't this one heard about Eddie's addiction to the sweet and sticky drink? Or even better, that he could get drunk on it?

"I leave my desk. Sometimes... time turner if she has her way."

"Sometimes being the keyword there Benjy," Eddie replied with a grin. Looking over to the direction that Benjy was pointing to, he nodded. "Yeah I remember her. Figured your cousin would be able to drag you here." Seeing as a Butterbeer was quite out of question, he passed the bottle in his right hand and with his left uncorkered it. 'Well here goes,' he thought. Bringing the bottle to his lips, he took a small slip of what was London's Pride. His taste buds didn't appreciate the somewhat bitter taste that it left after, but his throat was happy that it had been basked in something fluid. "You know, she kind of does have a point. See your not dead for coming out to the barbeque now are you?"

"Well, well. Speak of the devil! Good to see that Jacquie and I didn't have to come drag you from your desk, hm?"

Turning to face the trio by the barbeque, Eddie said, "Or you could have saved yourself the trouble by sending River. She managed to drag Benjy from his desk, she'd probably have managed dragging him also." Taking another sip from the bottle, his taste buds started to agree with the taste. Still that didn't mean he would drink the bottle all at once. This wasn't Butterbeer, this was real alcohol, and being drunk right now wasn't something he was planning on achieving. No, in fact let the others get drunk, where's the fun if you can't remember all the stupid things someone said or did during a party. So much more fun when you can taunt them for days to come with those events.

Before he could even go and introduce himself to those whom he didn't know (and this was probably mutual) some woman walked to the groupd. Well, is anybody going to offer a lady a drink?" Where had he seen this woman before? Eddie was so sure he had seen her and oh Merlin he definitely had heard that sick. sweet-coated voice before. Anybody who met her would probably remember her for one thing or another. Scratching the side of his face with the little of finger-nail that stuck out he tried to figure out where he had seen her. One thing that was for sure, he wasn't about to move one foot to get her a drink. He'd only get in the way of Leathan and his barbeque.
