Before Benjy had even been able to ask what was going on, he had found himself holding a ring. Oh good grief, this was not looking good. But again, before he could do anything, Joshua had exploded onto the scene in a rather spectacular fashion. Which instantly begged the question 'where was River?' Looking over to where the two had been canoodling, Benjy could see her onthe ground, wearing what had been a bottle of beer, and looking set to murder them all. Benjy had seen that look once before. About a week after River had shown up at his apartment, her ex-husband had come looking for her. Benjy had never seen a man run so fast in his life, and she had never even drawn her wand.

As quickly as he could, Benjy made his way to his sister, offering her a hand up. She took it, and went to move past him only to find herself sitting in the chair, Benjy straddling her. "You're not going over there sis. Bailing you out of jail was not on my list of things to do today." It seemed Benjy had paid attention in his basic combat classes. He never would have pinned her otherwise. She struggled beneath him for a moment, glaring daggers, but finally she stopped. The next time she saw Rita Skeeter, and Benjy wasn't around, that woman was in for hell.

And in the mean time, she snagged Benjy's beer and chugged it. It was going to be a long afternoon.
