As Josh carried her up the stairs Morela was a shade of red not so familiarly associated with the wild eyed werewolf. She had had her incident dredged up infront of everyone, even those who she wasn't sure even knew there ever had been an 'incident', she had had been accused of alcoholism infront of the entire party and she even had to be taken down by a jinx and scratch herself all up to hell. So for the record, this party was not going according to plan.

Soon they were back inside the flat and Josh had set her down on he couch. Morela winced a little as she tried to scoot herself up on the couch a bit more and had forgotten about her hands, which now burnt with the painful sting of couch fuzz.

"Now, I"m not the best at this countercurse stuff....but..."

Morela nodded solemnly, her eyes glossy and a bit puffy from being on the verge of tears for the past ten minutes. Morela lifted her hands, careful to make sure she didnt touch them against anything and covered her face with them. After Josh cast his counterjinx she waited a moment, took a deep breath, and prayed that when she opened her eyes she wouldnt be looking down at a fin or something. When Morela finally opened her weary eyes she sighed with relief and turned her gaze on Josh.

"As for the wounds...I'll get some water and we'll do you up Muggle fashion, yeah?"

Morela nodded, offering Josh what appeared to be an attempt at a smile.

"I'm sorry to make such a scene at chore party Josh. I'm sure everyone t'inks I'm crazy now."

Morela tried a bit of a laugh with her comment, but she was completely serious. Right now they were probably all sitting down there wondering who the hell could be friends with such a lunatic!

"Huh? Damn snake...thing breaks out of its cage a least once a week,"

Morela was pulled out of her anxious reverie by Josh's comment. She lifted her feet from the floor and carefully swung them up onto the couch, wrinkling her nose and hoping that thing stayed far away from her. It wasn't that Morela had a real problem with snakes, it was simply very large snakes that made her a bit uneasy.

"Bring me my kitten Josh! Ah' least she deedn't see t'at fiasco."

Oh, you look so tired
Mouth slack and wide
Ill-housed and ill-advised
Your face is as mean
As your life has been
