Josh

"I'm sorry to make such a scene at chore party Josh. I'm sure everyone t'inks I'm crazy now."

Josh made a face at that as he messed about in the kitchen getting a cloth and a bowl to fill with water.

"Naw. Skeeter's the nutter, love. Everyone knows it. She provoked you," he explained as he made his way back to her, glancing again at the empty snake cage. Most likely the sinewy creature was curled up under the radiator. Even in the summer months, the thing seemed to stay warmer than the rest of the flat.

"Bring me my kitten Josh! Ah' least she deedn't see t'at fiasco."

Rolling his eyes, he handed her the cloth and the bowl of water knowing she knew precisely how to wipe up her own blood; time spent on the pitch together years back and what not. Then, having left her so, he started to look about the place for the silly little thing.

"What was it's bloody name again?" he asked, glancing over at her.

Leathan

Leathan's brow lifted just a touch when River called Benjy her brother, his eyes moving between the two and suddenly catching what he'd been missing.

"Are your parties always this exciting Leathan?"

"Well, Josh and I do so hate to allow anyone to be bored," he said, taking another pile of bangers off the grill and popping them into a covered dish.

"So, whats the next exciting piece of entertainment you guys have for us?"

"Up to me, it would be more beer and more food," Leath responded, grabbing another Newcastle for himself and taking a seat before glancing over at Jacquie. "And how is your internship working for you this year, love? Weren't you under the tutelage of Haddock last summer?"
