Unfortunately, it wasn't the best idea on Hestia's part to leave him alone with this new buzzer contraption. Being that Hestia had made no response, Rhett began to wonder if he had done it right. You could never trust a Muggle invention. Far too unreliable. Rhett decided to press the botton under Hestia's and it made another loud buzzing noise. Terribly amused, Rhett pressed the next button twice and a very angry man's voice rang through the other side. Rhett jumped slightly at the shout before laughing. For a moment he had almost forgotten he was here picking up Hestia but quickly remembered when he heard the opening of the front door behind him. Rhett turned his head too look over his shoulder before the rest of his body followed and he was standing facing Hestia. Rhett smiled and strode up to meet her at the door, one hand tucked into his pocket and the other holding the stem of orchids down at his side.

"Good evening, Mister Doyle... You clean up very nicely."

Rhett chuckled as his grin broadened. "You know, I tend to get that," he replied smoothly. He then gently took her hand and slipped the orchids into it before lightly planting a kiss on the back of her palm. Then he straightened back up and let his eyes vaguely glance down at her outfit. "And you look lovely as always," he commented before giving a slight nod of his head. "I must say," Rhett continued with a grin. "I think green suites us both rather well." It really had double meaning, in a sense. Rhett only wore green, black and gray for the last 7 years of his life and he would probably continue doing so. Not only to show his proud for his former house which grew to be more like a way of life, but because there were very few colors a flaming red-head could wear without looking completely ridiculous. Green was one of them.

"So," Rhett began nonchalantly as he tucked both of his hands into his pockets. "I thought we'd go to InnThe Park for dinner? It a restaurant in St. Jame's park, it's supposed to be nice," he explained before adding, "if that's okay with you, of course." It was a short walk to the restaurant and Rhett thought the sound of the local dining establishments weren't up to par for Hestia and himself. Yes, he was partly trying to impress her, but he also didn't like eating at second rate restaurants in general. He was still a snobby rich boy at heart. "And then afterwards we could head over to the hill for some star gazing."
