"I'd have to agree with you there," she commented, "It's been so long since I've worn it, I thought I would revive it."

Rhett chuckled. "Well, we'll always be Slytherins at heart, whether we like it or not," Rhett replied with a grin. He hadn't a clue about Hestia's new out-look on things, and that wasn't a surprise since she was very good at hiding it from him. Rhett did truly believe that he'd always been one of those cunning, manipulative, sneaky Slytherins. He'd go on to become a Death Eater and spend the rest of his life getting what he wanted by skill, luck, power, and dominance. This might be a terribly pessimistic view to most people, but, quite sadly, Rhett knew no other way of life. He didn't exactly have the best role models as parents, and he had been surrounded by insincere and malicious people his entire life. He didn't know any other way of doing things, to be perfectly honest. Rhett didn't think it was possible to get anywhere in life without some lying, cheating and blackmail. And while he could get very far in life based on his intelligence alone, Rhett relied a lot on his looks and cunning to achieve things and get what he wanted. It wasn't really his fault, he just didn't know there was another successful path to take.

"That sounds lovely," she said, "I haven't actually been there, though, so you'll have to lead the way."

Rhett smiled at Hestia and slightly jerked his head in the direction of the road. "It's not too far. I would say we should Apparate, but the park is infested ith Muggles," he said, pausing or a moment for her to walk up to his side before starting to walk down the path. "I'm surprised you haven't been to Inn The Park before," Rhett said as he turned right and headed towards St. Jame's park. "You have a view of the lake and across the way is Buckingham Palace." He then turned his head slightly and grinned at her. "This is exactly why you need someone like me who has too much free time on his hands to take you out and away from that drag of a job for a bit of fun," he added with a grin and a small wink. Rhett's impression of what Hestia had told him about her job was that she just sat at a desk doing paper work all the time. Rhett could never do that, and he was making it his personal responsiblilty to make her get out and have some fun without the stresses of work to get in the way.

"Have you been up to anything terribly thrilling since last we talked?" he then asked with a slight raise of his eyebrows. Rhett hadn't been doing much of anything besides looking around for jobs -- none of which he ever dared to actually take, except maybe a job as a bar tender, all the rest seemed dreadfully dull and he could see him hanging himself out of sheer boredom. But he was still holding out to hear back from Hogwarts, but, by the way things were going, it seemed as though he would find out last minute if he was going to get the job or not. He'd also been negotiating with his parents. Rhett seemed to have gotten them to agree to not making him get married as long as he became a Death Eater. Quite sadly enough, putting himself in a great deal of danger and possible get him killed was much more appealing than getting married. A life sentence in Azkaban, or forced marriage to some half-wit second cousin twice removed with the brain the size of a peanut? He'd take his chances with the Dementors.
