Well, that wasn't exactly what she had wanted. A sigh and for him to turn his back on her weren't exactly the most positive of signs. So she frowned a bit and stepped inside, feeling far more awkward than she knew she knew how to feel.

"Oi! Ath!"

The dark girl jumped quite a bit, not expecting Jeremy to be around. Perhaps she forgot that anyone who wasn't Darby actually existed within Lowell. It was an easy thing to do, she supposed, when one wasn't very social.

"Hi, Jeremy," she said, flinching the slightest bit when he took the liberty of touching her.

"Haven't seen you about much... We need you to drop by. And often. The touch of a girl is necessary in the lives of us dreary bachelors."

"I've been busy," she said, and it was the truth. People seemed to think that since her dad was in charge of international things, she should like them, too. Frankly, Athena hated traveling. But no one seemed to ask her what she thought about things. Then again, she couldn't really expect the Ministry to care all that much when there were things to get done.

"So, can you?" she asked, turning her attention to Darby again. Athena wanted to get this over with. It was awkward. It hurt her pride. He wasn't wearing a shirt.
