If Darby had only dated a handful, Athena was at about a finger. The whole idea made her uncomfortable in a new, and rather exciting way. But she'd keep that to herself.

"A month? So...what do you need me to do, hm? I can stay over at your place, if you think Drake would be happier if I did."

"Not if my flat ends up looking like this," she said, looking around at the mess that made up the majority of his apartment.

There would be something odd about having him there when she wasn't. Granted, she'd just buy one of those Expand-a-trunks and pack up all of her things that.

"But, I mean, I can get you a key, and if he needs it. Well, you'd need a key anyway," she said, beginning to blather. So it was best to just stop, perhaps. "And you'd just need to like, walk him and stuff. Feed him, that's important. And, well, I took him to Romania with me, I got him last winter for Christmas from- a, a, uh, friend at school, and I've never really been away from him for a long time. So if, if yeah, you could spend some time with him, you know? Make sure he's not lonely. And I mean, I'll silence the room so if he barks or whines a lot. But, you could, you could just take care of him."

Athena's dog, at the moment, was her first child. And one was always nervous about leaving their baby.
