"I might," he said in reference to staying at her place. "I'll keep it clean if I do, though, yeah?"

He would, at the very least, make a damn good effort to do so. And his place was only as bad as it was because there were two of them. And only because they'd not cleaned since Athena's last scouraging.

"Yeah. Owled Karina loads," he said with a firm nod. It was her next statement that blew him away, though. He stared at her for a long, long moment before he was pushing off the couch and walked into the kitchen, setting his beer down and taking a deep breath as he looked out the window.

Turning back around, he gave her a very odd smile punctuated with drawn brows.

"Ath? Do you think that I could forget you? Even if I wanted?" He was very quick to add, "Not that I would want to."
