Dam managed to smile and wave at Orion as he circled him. He did kind of feel bad for asking the slightly younger boy to move in, and then leaving him here all alone, but he was sure that Orion understood. Just like he had thought Jacquie understood. Oh sure, he was grateful she had had the presence of mind to make sure he wasn't passing out at work, but that still didn't mean that he wanted to be here. He needed to be working on this potion, otherwise, how was it supposed to get done?

Knowing that the porridge still needed something else, Jacquie rummaged through the cupboard for two things that she knew were there. She knew that they were there because she had bought them. Not trusting the two boys to actually know how to do grocery shopping, she was always careful to make sure they had food. She was just putting the cinnamon and the sultanas into the porridge when Orion walked into the kitchen.

For Dams sake, of course,

Smirking, Jacquie shook her head at Orion. "The way I understand it, Dam isn't here often enough for me to look after him. You could just ask me to move in to look after you you know. There's no shame in admitting you want some attention to." She raised an eyebrow at his strange taste in drinks, but figured he had been out drinking. Raw eggs were supposed to be good for hangovers weren't they. Turning down the heat on the stove she stuck her head out of the kitchen to glare at Dam again. "You are going to start coming home every second or third night Damocles Belby, no exceptions."

"Yes dear." Damocles was too tired to even open his eyes. Anyone looking in from the outside who didn't know better would think the two were dating. Or maybe related.

There wouldnt happen to be enough for another person would there?

"Of course there is darling. Hungry are you?" Jacquie grinned at Orion, kissing him on the cheek before she began ladeling the porridge into bowls, sprinking a little bit of sugar onto each before adding some more milk to cool it down. "You know that you are always welcome at my place for dinner. Anya and Rachel won't mind you coming around. And I am sure I wouldn't mind you being around either." Still smirking at him she picked up Damocles' bowl and took it out to him. "Eat, and then bed."

Without bothering to say anything, Dam did what he was told. It was the safest option.
