He chuckled lightly at her comment, though he didn't respond, feeling that there wasn't a need for a one at the moment. Instead, he found himself caught up in the way that the light from the window played across her features highlighting the waves in her hair as she pushed a lock from her face.

"My father can get a touch carried away with his stories-"

That brought laughter from his gut as he took a sprawling seat on the couch and grinned up at her. "I'll give you that much. What I want to do is get him alone and hear some stories about you, Char. If you were anything as a child like you are as a woman, I'm sure he's got some great fodder," he teased with a wink.

"Tell me you've been able to keep up with the matches out here, Char. I can tell you it's not nearly as much fun to watch a ManU or Liverpool match without you there."
