"Anything is a very big promise, Deveruex,"

She should have known by the strategic use of her last name, something that was common when distance was meant to be kept, that he wasn't even a shred serious about her. Furthermore, she should have known this strictly from the strong waves of dishonesty radiating off of him- but Paris had never really embraced her gift and it didn't seem she was going to start today. Her eyes fluttered shut, listening to the teasing breathlessness of his words, loving the mystery of it all. The anticipation was going to kill her.

"What if I asked of you something that you couldn't do? Then where would your promise be?"

The prize was being dangled in front of her, she could feel it. She had to seize it. "No Justin, I'd do anything for you....anything!" She whispered with certaintity. She caught his eyes holding his gaze with desperate intensity, the hopeful imploring eyes of someone with nothing to lose, "I'd do whatever you wanted, whatever you said. I'd travel to the ends of the Earth and back..." She whispered, her gaze intent.

He was working on her collarbone in seconds, teeth dragging along the places that he knew drove her wild. She gasped under her breath as he worked, his words reaching her ears, her heart beating still faster with the anticipation of the chase.

"Just how far would you go, Paris. How far would you really go to make me yours?"

He was roping her in, slowly, knowing just what to say and what to do. Paris once again tripped over her words trying to get them out so fast. "Justin believe me! I'd go anywhere, do anything! I'm yours....for you and you alone....I'll give you whatever you want." She burst.

No matter who I have to kill to get it, Paris added to herself inwardly.
