Adela could've been wrong but shouting words like 'fuck' was probably not what McGonagall would describe as being appropriate language for a Quidditch announcer's to use, at least not when he was being broadcast across the stadium, but apparently he was getting away with it. And apparently Noah was letting Gail get away with putting her hand around his waist which wasn't too odd considering it was Gail but still, it just confused Del more so she decided not to think about it too much.

"Do you see how he treats me?...You'd almost think he didn't like me, wouldn't you?"

She smiled in return though she didn't really know what to do with herself since Gail was there. If she had known the other girl was there she most definitely would not have joined them…she knew better. And she hated awkward moments and this was downright uncomfortably awkward at least for Del and she was half-tempted to sneak away but if she did that then she'd probably do something stupid and just make things worse. There was nothing worse than awkward mixed with a social conundrum and Adela would've given anything for McGonagall to shoo her or Gail, or both, away. She wasn't leaving though of her own accord. That would bring about quite a bit of anxiety as to how best to get by McGonagall without her noticing and how to do so without making a complete ass of herself. Nope. Too much trouble now that she was already there.

"You know, Dell . . . ."

"Hm?" She turned her gaze from the game she had absentmindedly been watching back to Gail, sensing a slightly familiar tone.

"I had permission to come in here, since my poor sister in the hospital wants lots of details on the match, but McGonagall didn't want a bunch of my friends congregating in here too. It might be better if you snuck out before she saw you. I'd hate for you to get into trouble."

If Adela were any other person she might've laughed a very sarcastic laugh and ignored the girl but alas, Adela was Adela and she wasn't about to argue but she wasn't going to just up and leave either after she'd gone out of her way to go up there.

"I appreciate your concern," her smile still intact, "but I don't think Professor McGonagall would mind if Noah's family is here with him." She didn't want to start anything especially when she knew she'd lose but she didn't see why she had to go…Sure it was awkward but Noah was her cousin and he was her friend and so was Gail. They could be mean to each other some other time. Noah needed to be in good spirits for the game otherwise he might not have a future as an Hogwarts announcer.
