"If we need to get help we can."

"I don't want help!" Dani snapped. "If we can have the damn kids, we can take care of them too!" She rubbed her temples lightly. "Sorry. I shouldn't yell at you. It's not really your fault. But you know how I feel about that." She felt the same way when they'd had Sophia; she felt the same way with this baby.

"If you want to send her cookies I can probably make them if you aren't up to it."

Dani rolled her eyes. "You make terrible cookies. No baking for you. I'm not trying to poison the girl! I'll bake the cookies, I'll let you write the letter and pack the box. And Sophia will nap, because she's good at that."

"Schedule it for whenever. It doesn't matter. I'll get the time off no matter what. Work should be use to that by now."

She glared at her husband. "Don't you dare! Tell me when you're already off work, and I'll try to get in then! I can't have you getting fired! We've just gotten married, and have Sophia already and a new baby on the way. If we can do anything at all to assure that they don't get angry at you."

"Can I get you anything else?"

"No, I'm fine." She sighed. "I'm a little tired, but it's mostly the baby. I've been napping with Sophia, and I didn't lay down with her today, might have been a mistake." She sighed again.

"Oh and when did you put Sophia down for her nap?"

Dani pulled herself out of the chair. "About half an hour." She collected her carrots, and handed Sean her glass of water. "We ought to go upstairs, in case she wakes up. And I want to lay down, at least a little." She started to lead Sean back upstairs as she talked. "She's going to need fed. You know, I could be feeding both babies at once. You know, this being a mum thing is wonderful, but my breasts are sore, and I'm grouchy, and it wears me out." She sighed. "And now I'm pregnant again. It's a lot…It's a lot to put up with."

She'd just gotten herself settled in to bed when She heard a small cry from Sophia's nursery. Dani couldn't help put sigh, and pulled herself back off the bed to go and get the baby. "Don't say it. I'll just get her and be right back alright Sean?" She kissed her husband lightly. "Promise." And that's just what she did. It took her less than ten minutes to get the baby, change her diaper, and be back in bed, with Sophia latched on to one nipple. "Ow." She murmured brushing her daughter's hair lightly, then smiled up at Sean. "What do you think, Daddy? Sophie is going to be a big sister." Of course, she'd be too small to ever remember not being a big sister.
