"It's alright," he soothed, his palm cupping against her cheek before he was drawing her in for a close hug, his arms wrapping about her. "Look, we'll take it slow, then. You ask me anything you want and I'll answer it. I have Muggle friends who you can talk to - Muggle friends who are very involved in the Wizarding community. It will just take some time, that's all."

He smiled lightly against her hair before he pulled back and tilted her face up to look at her, concern etched in his features. "I don't want this to come between us, Wynne. It's been so long since I've felt...felt what I'm feeling. At the risk of sounding completely sappy, I'm falling hard for you. I've been thinking about you almost non-stop since....since...I just can't stop thinking about you. And it..if you, just please don't say that you can't see me at all."

He hated that he had reduced himself to begging; it didn't feel right on his tongue. In fact, it felt downright awful, but he would drop to his knees and beg if it would keep Wynne right there.
