" Relax Dani, we'll work it out."

"I can't relax." She sighed. "You don't understand Nic. You're not the one who's married, you're not the one who's pregnant. You don't have anything to worry about. He's just your friend. He's my husband. I can't believe you… I … that we didn't think…" She sighed, and fussed with Sophia's hair for a moment, trying to calm herself down. She didn't need to get worked up, it wouldn't be good for her or the baby, or Sophia, or Nic. But right now she wans't really concerned about what was good for Nic.

"I'll keep this secret from him because I know you love h, I know how much…"

And because he'd kill Nic. Sean would kill Nic faster than Dani would get the words, Its Nic's baby, out. Nic would be dead, and she would be a single mother of two, well one and Sean would take Sophia. "Its not just that Nic. It's for the babies too. For Sophia and this baby. They don't need to grow up with that." With split families and knowing their mother was a whore, and all the other bad things that would come from this. It was bad enough that Sophia was born well before her parents were married. Now this too?

"But I want to be in my child's life Dani."

"I know, I guess, I mean… that you'd want that or for me to get rid of it. But Nic, that will be hard. You can't be daddy, or anything, you'll just have to be uncle Nic like you are to Sophia." Sophia was without a doubt Sean's child. She looked just like him. Hopefully this baby would look more like Dani. "But we're here every week, and as long as we don't start sleeping together again we can keep it this way… and you babysit for us often enough. We'll just have to tell Jeremy no more often." As Sean's cousin did love Sophia and would probably love the new baby just as much.

"If you're going to tell him Dani, you have to tell him early on. Tell him before the baby is born or don't tell him at all."

She glared at Nic. "I fail to see why you get any say in how and when I tell my husband what." She snapped, and pulled away from him. Then apologized, "Sorry, it's the baby and the hormones. I… and I'm scared, Nic." She'd never been so scared in her life. Well, when she'd had her first fake contraction and sworn she was going in to early labor, that might have been scarier. But this was a very close second. "I… What if he leaves me? What if he takes Sophia?" She asked, holding her daughter close to her chest. "We shouldn't have ever slept together." And if they had they should have stopped after the first time.
