"Brilliant," he said. "Living in Hogsmeade is just brilliant. Derek, Cam and I spend hours down at the pond in the summer and there's little more fun than spending a day exploring the caves up in the hills. And, a given, we don't ever worry about Muggles about the place, as we have none. Really, it's almost strange to have to keep wizarding stuff hidden. It's only thanks to Anyca that I even know how to dress Muggle," he added. Of course, his Muggle wasn't the most stylish, given that most of it was a few years old, but he did justice to the pair of bootcut, faded jeans and the black t-shirt he wore.

Looking through the list with Charity, he nodded at her choice, wishing now that he'd have spent some manner of time preparing a bit better for just what and where to take his girlfriend. He was sure that he could have gotten some information from Anyca on a good movie to watch, but instead they went up to the box office, he pulled out some of his hard-earned cash and bought two tickets. A large bucket of popcorn, two sodas and some random candy later he was rather wishing he'd suggested something like feeding ducks at the pond. But, being the guy he was, he only smiled and pressed a kiss to her temple as the settled in for the movie. What he rather wished, now, was that Anyca had mentioned that a movie wasn't just a pair of tickets but all the other stuff. As the movie started he mentally worked at figuring out how much he had left for all of Saturday. It was precious little.

Trying to put that out of mind, he settled in for the movie. Now, he knew that one of the things Muggles did at movies had little to do with watching the movie, but he found that he was so intrigued by the action on the screen that everytime he considered starting up some snogging with Charity, something new caught his attention. It wasn't until the movie was over, the popcorn, candy and soda gone that he realized he'd never made more than a few thoughts on the idea of snogging her. Glancing at the ratty wrist-watch he'd borrowed from Cam, he noted that it was only just past ten.

"What time do your folks expect you home," he asked, as they left the movie theatre.
