He laughed at her words and gave her a crooked smile. "Mischief is always good," he declared. In the Grimm brothers world, it most definitely good. The very word mischief gave each of the brothers a gleam in their eyes and made the most mundane of days on the farm feel less so.

"Too bad you couldn't stay with me tonight. My mum wouldn't even notice."

That gave him a pause, his stomach flopping unaccountably. With her pressed up against him, he couldn't help that his mind took him down a path of flesh and heat and sweat. He was already letting go his tighter hold on her when she explained just what she meant and he gave a nervous laugh that he hoped didn't come off as bad as he thought. "Well, it's a great offer, but the LaRose's are expecting me. In fact," he glanced at his watch, "why don't we wander along the Thames? Just hang out until I gotta go."
