What are you doing here?"

"Not shopping for myself, that's for sure." Gail's words were spoken in a tone so full of emphasis that she may as well have been pointing right at Mack's belly and snickering madly. It was certainly what she felt like doing. Gail took a long slow look over Mack's body, taking a further step back from her, even though there was still a table between them for safety. So, Mack Raelene was pregnant. Considering her size, she must have gotten knocked up a long while back and Gail began sifting through her mental images of the girl at school, wondering how on earth she could have missed it.

She glanced around the shop to see where Grant had gone off to, and attempted to catch his eye in between trying to avoid taking her eyes off of Mack - which proved to be a difficult sort of eye maneuver. Taking her eyes of Mack was really not an option, since the girl HAD tried to kill her the last time they had met. Gail felt the opening of her purse, fingering the handle of her wand that was poking out just the slightest bit, keeping it close.

"So who knocked you up, Raelene?" she asked. "You-Know-Who?" Gail smirked. She knew she ought to just walk away, but she couldn't resist. "Because I can't imagine anyone else having the stomach to get that close to you."

The best things in life are free. The second best are very expensive.
