Hero or no, that was not smart!"

"I didn't do it on purpose." Charity said quietly. She was just having a bit of fun. Who knew she would have fallen? And who knew he would have gotten upset about it? If Charity had known that she would not done it. She gave Gil a weak yet apologetic smile. She really hadn't meant to fall. She didn't know why she lost her but obviously she had and Gil was not happy about it.

"I should get you home,"

Charity grabbed Gil's arm. "Dont go!"
She begged, blaming her stupid antics for the reason he was leaving. Great, this was all her fault. " "Mrs. LaRose will be expecting me to be home before midnight. What time shall I come get you tomorrow?" Charity bit her lip and nodded her head.

"Right. I wouldn't want you to get into trouble." Charity paused for a moment thought about it. "Ten." She said with a nod before changing her mind. "Ten-thirty? Yes ten-thirty. I hope that's not too early." It wasn't and so Gil walked her home. At the door step they kissed each other goodnight, it was a lengthy kiss and Charity's mother had to call her in before Charity had wanted to stop.
