"I don't even want to hear you cant wait. If i had my way you wouldn't know till you held it the first time."

He fumed over that. "I'm bloody going to know before then," he told her through gritted teeth. The baby was half his, he had a right. Besides. If he had to, he would make the healer tell him. The healer would have to tell him. And if he wouldn't, on Diana's orders, then he would pay the healer off, he would do whatever it took, just to spite Diana.

Wishing he hadn't said anything, Cash listened to Diana's sarcastic tirade. He rolled his eyes and folded his arms, giving her an annoyed look. He nodded that, right, he did get her, and the baby.  He shook his head. "So whatever I do doesn't matter then?" He was insignificant in every way. That's what Diana was saying. What he did didn't matter. He took another of her chips and devoured it to keep himself from saying anything.

"You can choose the godfather so long as I approve."

"Then I have to approve of the godmother," he snapped. Maybe he needed to be more authoritative - if he wasn't, he wouldn't get anything he wanted. "Liam," he said instantly. He was going to win this time, he didn't care.
