The longer Diana spoke, the more Cash wanted to slap her. Every insulting thing she could say of those he cared about she did. She would have to be blind to see that he wasn't angry about this. Cash had to keep taking deep breaths to keep himself calm. His anger was slowly showing through however.

His eyes were narrowed to slits. A furious expression was quickly mounting on his face, and he had his hands clenched into fists. He wished they weren't in public. He wished there was a way he could let his wife know how upset he was. Cash wasn't a Hufflepuff, but his loyalty resembled that of one.

When she was finished, Cash took a long, deep breath, and then released. I was long time before he could speak again. When he did, his voice was low, but full of authority that matched the tone his father used only on him. He wasn't aware that he was using this tone at all. "Diana," he started through a clenched jaw. "You are very lucky we are in a public place right now. I don't want to EVER here you say a thing about my cousin again. I swear. Not another word. We can't say anything because we slept with each other before we were married too." Cash paused to take another deep breath. "No, I would not do that to you. I will never cheat on you."

Cash had to take ANOTHER deep breath. He was really struggling with staying calm. He stopped this timem and didn't allow himself to speak until it was in an almost normal tone. "Diana...darling," the words were almost spit out, "as for Gil...I don't care about his money or lack there of at all. I don't want you to say such a stuck-up, petty comment again. Do you understand? I want us to get along, I want this marriage to work, but, and I don't ask for much, but this is the one thing I am asking for."

He shook his head and stopped glaring. "Now, love, why don't we talk about something that isn't so...upsetting?"
