Cash almost breathed a sigh of relief when Diana spoke in a softer tone, saying that she had gotten his gift. He ran a hand through his hair and nodded. "Thought I could contribute something," he mumbled, before his eyes settled on Silence the look she gave him. He gave a small smile and shrug of the shoulders, as if to say, eh, what can I do about it?

The mention of names brought Cash's focus back onto Diana. His brow furrowed. "Wait," he held a hand up, "what else did my mother bring over?" His books? Had she gone through all of his things? He was suddenly worried. But then Diana was listing off baby names and he had to focus again. If he didn't want another fight to break out, he would at least have to be interested somewhat in this new topic. It would just make things easier for him.

He raised a brow when she wanted the middle name to be after his father. He shrugged and leaned over, grabbing some food. Just because she wasn't eating, didn't mean he wasn't. Leaning back, he continued to listen. Cash shrugged again when she said she didn't want a family name for a first name. He took a gulp of his butterbeer, trying to think of something to add.

"I don't mind Bianca, or Henri," he commented on what appeared to be her top choices. She said she had been looking at his books? Cash thought back to that to come up with his own suggestions. "I like Elizabeth," he said quietly, playing nice, though the conversation made him slightly sick. "Or Juliet," he did love Romeo and Juliet. Boy names were harder for him to think of. "William's good," he added, liking that they agreed on thought. Cash sighed. "It would be so much easier if we knew...never mind," he finished, knowing he would be chewed out if he spoke that entire thought.  "Um," he ran a hand over his neck. "There wasn't anything that you wanted to do today, was there?" Like, get out of the Three Broomsticks, visit another store? He thought he'd ask, just in case she did.
