The good thing about admitting you weren't in the know around Teddy was that he was never one to make you feel stupid about it. Well, unless you weren't a girl, then he might just rub it in, but as Devon was clearly a girl he only took the joint back and showed her how to pinch it between her thumb and finger. "Here, like that. See? And then," he brought it to his lips, took a slow inhale, held it and then let it go. "Just like that. Nice and slow. You'll probably cough a bit at first, but it's worth it," he assured her, handing the joint back and get her fingers on it just right.

"Okay, now," he motioned an inhale and then was grinning all the more when she suggested he was a good boy. He wasn't that, and he knew it. Well, he could be, but where was the fun in that? He wasn't sure he knew.

"A bit what? A bit more than way lots of fun? It's way far more than fun," he told her, tipping back the bottle of whiskey again and taking the burn with more grace than the first two sips. "C'mon, Devs! Take a good inhale! I promise...it's a greeat feeling," he assured her. Already he could feel the few puffs he'd taken starting to work on him.
