" Or offer them not to sell it. Thus keeping any good information you found which might be wise if you are thinking of trying out next term."

Trent felt incredibly stupid for not thinking that. His eyes went a bit wide and he nodded. "That's a good point," he mumbled, not looking at Dakota. Well, obviously he needed to think things through before he opened his mouth. While selling would be profitable, keeping it would not only earn him some money but some valuable information for himself as well, just as Dakota pointed out. Feeling a bit slow about it all, Trent contnuned to look down and hitched his heavy shoulder bag higher up on his shoulder.

He looked to the pitch and sighed. "I don't know how well I would do with that kind of pressure - having scouts looking and all...not that I want to go professional or anything," he added quickly. He didn't need word getting out that he was trying out or anything. It was still an idea forming in his head. And though he spoke without thinking on occassion, something like trying out for the quidditch team he wanted a lot of thought put into before he let others really know.

Trent was somewhat confidant that Dakota wouldn't go telling others. It was mostly why he had decided that he wasn't going to give away a position that he wanted. Seeker would be a lot of pressure, but he had a good eye, and was decent at it. Beater was a good way to get his aggression out - that he didn't normally display for others - but he didn't think he was strong enough. Chaser...well Chaser was a lot of pressure as well. He didn't think he had the quick thinking for that. So it was either being able to catch a tiny ball or whack a heavy ball that he was weighing his decision again.

"Maneuverability is important for a seeker and it sounds like you have some practice dodging bludgers. Plus the fact you let them means you have some confidence they would not hit you... Chaser uses much the same skill set as seeker."

"True. Chaser though....lots of coordination. Not sure if I have that or not...I work better alone," he added as an after thought, realizing the moment that he said it that it was true. He was afraid to let others down so it was better that if he failed, he failed alone. It was a wonder why he wanted to try out for the team. "I think I want Seeker the most...it's just so much pressure." He wanted the glory that came with winning a game,  but not the hate he would recieve from not catching he snitch.

" Never held much interest in playing the game myself. "

Cocking his head to the side, Trent raised a brow. "Yet you're spying on the team?" he said with a little upward switch of his lips. He shrugged, trying to seem blase about the matter.

" Probably either chaser or beater as I would not be the only one of them on the pitch. Plus I have little interest in chasing something small that reflects light around the pitch on a sunny day."

Trent laughed and finally slid his shoulder bag off of his shoulder and onto the floor. The conversation, for the most part, was going well...but Trent knew he should stop while he was ahead, yet he couldn't. He sighed and decided to risk it and continue on. "It would get rather frustrating chasing something as wicked fast as a snitch...but I suppose someone's got to do it....we should both try out...so...you know...um, moral support."
