Sometimes he felt slightly bad for pointing out the obvious in front of Trent. As such comments made Trent seem slightly less confident in response which was hardly good for Dakota. Especially now when it was just the two of them.

Even worse he added pressure about talking about how recruiters worked. Dakota said " They are just like normal fans. Trust me they hide and you have no clue until they walk up to you later. " Then as he said it he realized now his friend would be looking at everyone. Dakota said " Don't worry about it. Actually don't even think about it. " As he was rather sure the idea if it stayed in Trent's head long would just decrease his confidence.

Something that as Dakota put his own foot in his mouth he was stepping on already rather good by accident.

Dakota said " I saw someone dive half towards a pole of one of the hoops. They missed. " Then he paused and said " Got curious and it isn't spying remember." Didn't they already go over the main difference between what he was doing and spying. Even more they determined the best way to go about spying if one of them was to do it. Part of him hoped Trent got a few gallons someday telling someone he observed that he would not say anything. Similar techniques had worked for him in the past rather well.

Trent managed to put him between a rock and a hard place. He was thinking of trying out though had decided not to mention it. A decision that he had every intention of keeping as it would give him the largest advantage. Dakota said " I'll be there for you at try-outs. Now the important thing is getting you ready to succeed at them." As naturally in the back of his head he realized he had a summer home with his mother which would nearly ensure his own success.

Hopefully Trent would not attempt to try out for beater or tryouts would become interesting. He would just have to discourage his friend from the position prior to tryouts. Or possibly mention over the summer that he was considering trying out. He certainly was not mentioning it prior to school ending. Dakota continued " Beater actually takes more coordination than chaser according to my mother. Since as beater one has to coordinate holding the bat and flying. As well as ones body movement when they swing to ensure the swing does not alter ones flight direction."

His talking so much about beater was making his interest much to obvious for his own tastes. So after a pause he tried to redirect his thoughts and said " Seekers a good position, as there is only one thing one has to concentrate on being the snitch. One of the tricks of seeker is ignoring the rest of the game, beyond not flying into anyone."

Talking to the son of a quidditch player was never a good thing. As even with his disinterest in quidditch at Hogwarts his whole life prior to Hogwarts was with his mother and she loved the sport. Meaning he spent years of watching quidditch with his mother pointing everything good and bad out.
