He liked how her arms felt as they circled about waist; he didn't move a muscle, even though he wanted to slide his hands along her arms and then turn and take her in for a kiss. He kept his vision straight ahead and, at her works, gave a grunting sort of shrug. He had been thinking about a swim, but admitting it was too hard.

It wasn't the argument or the trunks that had him tense, it was what he really needed to talk to Michelle about. They had just gotten truly settled into their home and his job had become something that, as much as he disliked it, was part of his routine. And then this had come up.

"I want to move to Eygpt," he blurted out, only realizing that he'd said it outloud after he'd done so. He frowned to himself; tensed up a bit more. "Next month. There's a possibility of a Cursebreaker job."

That was all; a possibility. He'd not even been approached about it. The bloke in the cubicle next to his had been in a loud conversation about the job with a co-worker; it had led Luke to dreams.
