" Me too. Heard a rumor he could read minds back in my second year. Though considering things doubt it is true."

"I think I heard the same thing," Trent admitted. He couldn't really remember who had said it though...some others his age then he assume. And they had probably heard it from some older student playing a joke on them. Still, though, Dumbledore was powerful...but Trent didn't think he had quite mastered reading minds, even if he was a brilliant wizard.

Thinking for a moment, Trent grinned. "Trial tests would be great...you never know what's going to happen with something made by wizards." Even books. He was sure there was a spoon out there that danced and sang if you looked at it the wrong way. Magic was funny like that. Trent wouldn't be surprised if there were books that could not be burned and did odd things when one tried to do just that to it.

"Yeah, My mother used to play, prior to me naturally, and sometimes helps out with them for her old team."

Trent might be not the brightest person out there, but that did not mean he was completely stupid. Slowly Dakota's words started to make sense to him. His mother had been a professional player? Immediatley he wondered what team she played for and then nearly sighed. Dakota had to be good, if his mum had been. "What team did she play for?" Trent asked before he could stop himself. He blamed his tongue on curiosity. He bit his lip and looked down at his hands, hoping Dakota didn't think he was being nosy or anything.

"They are probably easier, as from what I observed at the games is there are a lot of good players that need to improve basic flying. Probably why seekers from Hogwarts are on occasion are recruited for other positions."

"That can happen?" he asked, raising a brow. "They just train you for a different spot? Wouldn't they just look for someone that was good enough in the spot they wanted?" It made sense to him...then again, why waste a good flyer? If they had some skills at quidditch in one position, then maybe it made it easier for them to train in another....be versatile like. Trent leaned forward, wishing he had spoken about this sooner with Dakota, so he had some idea of what he was doing come tryouts the next year.
