Elliot let Josiah have the floor, knowing his mate would have only good to say and was nodding along with the other as he spoke.

"Good point, Josiah. We can't hold the sins of family over others. Merlin knows my own relatives aren't the best of the batch on all counts, but that doesn't mean that we can just flat out ignore familial relations."

It was a fine line to walk, but there were certain characteristics and rather outspoken comments that made it rather clear where a number of individuals loyalties lie. Perhaps had those comments and views been taken with more seriousness in the past, things would never have progressed to the point where they had.

"Do you have something in mind?"

"I do. Not much of something, at the moment, but I'm certain that we can put our combined resources together and fill in the empty spots. What we need to do is to give the Slythe-those who favor the pureblood cause, something to focus on. Something that will keep them from other plots and plans. Oh, let's just put it out there," he said after a moment. "It's the Slytherin's we're all most worried about. The vast majority of the idiots who went full tilt in with You-Know-Who came from that very House, didn't they now? Didn't even You-Know-Who come from the House of Slytherin? So, we need to harry them. Harry them and worry them. And," a positively evil little smirk drew to his lips, "who do the Slytherins, as a whole, hate the most at this school? The Gryffindors. Who, in turn, despise them. I saw we get those two houses as each others throats. It will keep the Slytherins terribly occupied. Question is, how?"
