“Are you sure?” he asked, smiling ruefully, “because you can keep on torturing me with cotton balls and that foul smelling…stuff."

At first he worried that he really was hurting JT but then he realized he was joking, hopefully, and he returned the smile. "Nah, I think I'm done. Maybe next time though," he said. It was almost like an inside joke between them now because they bother new that there would be a next time. There always was. Gabby wished that their wasn't but he was doing as much as he could and so at least he could feel good about that.

“I’m sure that’s gotta be tough for you and your family. There’s only so much I can do but if there’s anything I can do to help, you’ll let me know?

Gabriel shrugged as he prodded the healing wound, inspecting it to make sure he could move on to the next stage of the healing process. "Yeah, it's hard. He's my older brother." He then glanced back up at Jt and nodded. "I appreciate it. I'll let you know." Though he really wasn't sure what JT could do for him. After another quick inspection, Gabriel straightened.

"Everything looks in order. Now all I have to do is close up the wound." This was the part he didn't like. It was the most painful. Of course JT was numbed, but not as much as he could be. JT, Gabriel knew, hated taking potions and so Gabriel tried to keep that at a minimal while still trying to make sure he wasn't in pain.

He took out his wand and carefully analyzed the wound before deciding to go which variety of spells to go with for this particular opening. "Okay, I'll try and make this quick." But not too quick. Gabriel didn't want to mess up. He pointed the wand at the wound and started with the first spell and then he moved onto the second, this was where he actually started to pull the skin together with his wand. Gabriel watched what he did while trying to keep an eye on Jack to make sure he wasn't in too much pain. When the wound as back together, Gabriel went with the final sealing spell that would hopefully keep the wound closed for a much longer time.

"Done," Gabriel finally said, satisfied with his work. "That should do it." He spared a glance at Jack. "Another potion for the pain?" he asked.
