His team was awesome.  Pete felt himself relaxing somewhat under the positive banter between Nat and Todd and he sucked several deep breaths, huffing them out as he forced himself to jump in place a few times.  They could do this.  They’d practiced.  They’d drilled over and over and over again.  Every single one of them had put in the time and then some to take this match blindfolded.  And they knew it, too.  He could see it in their eyes.  They knew they had this.

"How the hell are we supposed to see in this? They might as well cancel the match."

And then there was Amber.

Pete banged her hard on the back and turned her around to face him.  Taking the edges of her cloak, he roughly straightened her collar and tightened up the front lacing of her collar.  “You,” he told her, “are going to use your ears.  You know what the Bludgers sound like.  And you know my voice.  Just listen.  Same goes for everybody.”  Pete turned back to the others, bouncing on the balls of his feet.  “Keep your ears open.  Listen to each other and listen to what is happening around you.  We’ve got this!”
