Yes, this was weird. For a number of reasons. One, was that where Anna-Marie was a rabid quidditch fan, and had been to every match ever when she’d been in school, she actually hadn’t been back for a match since she’d left the school several years ago. Two, was returning with children in tow under the best circumstances they were going to be a might tough to keep interested in those flying about with brooms for any length of time. Three, was this fog, it was just about as thick as she’d ever seen and she couldn’t imagine that the players, let alone the spectators were going to be able to catch what was going on.

Anna-Marie shifted her small son on her hip, her YELLOW clad hip, as she was wearing her house colors with pride, and though Deacon and Seth hadn’t yet had to go through their own sorting, they too were bundled up in yellow and black, Deacon’s hood over his face drawn so tightly that his blue eyes were just visible from where the bow was tied to keep his head warm as he was lead by the hand to their seats, Seth just a tad more free with a cap of black and yellow, his coat adding additional bulk to him so that he could barely clap his hands with delight when Jeremy and Kevin began their show of support for Jeremy’s sister.

The blond woman smiled, bouncing her baby on her knee.

“Yeah, it’ll be dumb luck if she can spot the snitch in all this. I think she has as much of a chance as we do seeing this match.” She smiled, clearly not bothered in the least that the plans Jeremy and she had made were being foiled by the fog.
