Quidditch matches were among some of her favorite things that happened at school. The excitement surrounding the game always made her feel as if she was up there in the sky flying with her house-mates. It would probably be the closest she'd ever get to flying without having a panic attack and crashing. This game was particularly exciting not only because it was a huge deal if they won, but because she could sit in the stands and watch Derek without worrying what other people thought. Not that Alison usually cared what people thought about the two of them. For the last two years people never had much of a problem voicing thier opinion on the mismatched couple. So naturally Alison had built up quite the immunity to the insensitive comments.

The fog made it almost impossible to find her way down to the pitch. She was lucky enough to spy a group of other students up ahead of her and followed their path as she pulled her hood up over her head. It wasn't freezing, but cold enough that she had sported about six layers of clothing before venturing out. By the time she reached the stands students had packed out most areas. She tried to see through the mist to find someone to sit with, but ultimately failed epically. Instead she located the first empty seat and decided to call it home for the time being.

"This weather is ridiculous..." She muttered under her breath, and then folded her arms over chest and tucked her hands beneath her arm pits. She hoped they started the game soon so she could hurry back to the common room and curl herself up under a tower of blankets. This was the type of weather she enjoyed when she was tucked away in her room with nothing but blankets and books.
