"You don't need to shout. We can hear you. Your child clearly has physical damage not spell damage, so he…. Oh Hi Kalle!"

Coming to the hospital and dealing with the anxiety he had over it  was one thing; dealing with the hospital in front of someone he knew from school was another. Kalle shifted Elias in his arms and nodded at her. He had known her well enough from the social circles they ran in, but he never actually shared any meaningful exchanges with her. "I didn't know you worked here" He said lamely, feeling a bit guilty for screaming at her from behind the counter. "Look I just need to have his arm looked at...maybe his head. Is there anything you could do to get us out of here quickly?" The uneasiness in his features was like a red target give away.

When she nodded to the back he followed her around the desk and into the uncomfortable light of the check up room. There he placed Elias down on the table and folded his arms over his chest. "Looks like quite a night and day." He nodded in the direction of the waiting area, "What the hell is going on in here? It's like a fuc-" he caught himself in front of his brother, " its like a circus." He finished, moving over to sit in the chair that was beside the bed.

"It hurts so bad...fix it!" Elias screamed, rolling over onto his side and looking up at Silence, "Please fix it." He whined, and then shot Kalle that look that often made him feel guilty he didn't do a better job taking care of the kid.

"I was doing fine until this one," he gestured to his brother, "decide to go and test the hardness of my desk with his face." He shook his head, "Hit it pretty hard and then landed on his arm. I think its broken...also my have a concussion or something. I really appreciate you checking him out." If anyone from school had heard the concern and seriousness in his voice they would have probably thought he was under the influence of some drug that made him less of an asshole. Truth be told, the only drug that could make him act this kind and out of character was his brother. The little brat had a way about him that Kalle just couldn't deny.
