Caitlin was going through every play they'd practiced over the course of the last few months to calm her nerves. She knew the plays; with Pete working them the way he did, she had little choice but to know the plays as well as they did. Working them over, she almost missed Nat's words, but when he caleld her little, she glared up at him. 

"At least I'm not a giant," she snapped at him.

But, despite her words, she couldn't help the flush of joy that colored her cheeks, though Petey rather wrecked that moment when he went on his own little rant. "Petey Watkins," she said, turning to glower at him, "we know. You needn't shout."
