The match started and the only reason Jeremy knew was because he heard the whistle blow. That was it. It took him a fair bit of squinting to even find a player in the mist. He tried though. Jeremy was determined at least try and spot his sister. It was an epic fail though. Every time he could see a player, every time he thought it was her, nope, she was lost again. And it probably wasn’t even her to begin with.

There was no way he would be able to recognize specific players, let alone see who was from what house exactly. Jeremy went with his hearing. He went with listening to the commentator and the crowd around him. Kevin whined that he couldn’t see anything and so Jeremy started to point out every time he could actually spot a player. He even made a game out of it to see who could spot a player first. That seemed to at least entertain his son.

At one point, Jeremy even closed his eyes and tried to see if that would help heighten his hearing. It would for a few seconds and then nope, nothing, it didn’t help at all. The game went on and on and on. And while Jeremy didn’t mind it if it had been a normal match, he did mind it when he couldn’t even see anything.

“I have no idea how they are even getting any points,” Jeremy said to Anna-Marie after he came back from taking a short walk with Kevin to keep him entertained. “It has to be blind luck that they are even scoring. Shanley....If she catches the snitch, she deserves a da-,” he looked at the kids and changed the word he was going to use, “she deserves an award.”
