He’d been on his way out; at least he’d thought that he was going to be waiting out in the fog for the rest of his teammates. He was exhausted, he wanted a nap but the annoyance that he felt over the match being so close wasn’t one that would go away. So he’d decided to take a minute before he’d head back into the locker room. But it seemed that T.J Scott, the same T.J Scott that had decided that her poor virgin ears weren’t to be touched with the mucking about between Pete and himself looped her arm through his and dragged him back bodily.

"Well that could have gone a bloody lot worse. I'd say its going pretty well, all things considered, wouldn't you? And We're only three behind! We can totally kick some arse in the next couple hours."

Shane only had a few moments to right himself, tucking the girl’s hand into the crook of his elbow, oddly more like he was escorting her to a dance instead of back into the Badger’s den. Maybe it had something to do with her little dancing feet, all that shifting about with the delicate movements went to her hands and then from her hands to his arm and there he was, looking down at her with a raised eyebrow and a groan.

“This should have been in the bag.” He grumbled, more than happy to take this break to again go back to his napping that he’d started before. This time when he separated himself from the little blond he rested his hand on top of her head, not quite patting it, not really ruffling her hair, he just rested his hand there and smiled at her for a minute like she was a prized quaffle and he knew he had a clear shot at the hoops.

“You’re doing a good job out there.” Shane told her, before deciding to sit on the floor and stretch himself out and close his eyes, his back feeling much better when he did that since he’d been hunched over his broom for hours.

“Valentine?” He called for Shay.

“You aren’t sulking are you?” He opened his eyes once more too look for the brown haired girl.
