"Sean! Where have you been all my life?!...Oh, I see how it is," Jeremy said, laughing when his son left him and went to his cousin instead. Sean was someone new and exciting though. That made the moment exciting not boring like it had turned for the little boy. Oh Jeremy could appreciate the complexity of the situation and how it made for interesting play, even if they couldn't see it. But still, it wasn't the same for his little boy.

He flapped a hand toward his friend though. "Oh Shanley can handle it. She's a tough one. She wouldn't let something like a quaffle to the face take her out of the game." After all, she had grown up with two rowdy brothers like he and Carter. Shanley had to have developed a tough skin in order to survive. It made handling quidditch injuries quite well for her.

Jeremy shrugged. "Eh...doubt it will burn off by the time the match ends. It doesn't even look like it's thinning out, does it?" he said with another shrug. "But Hufflepuff will still win, that's for sure. Am I right?" he asked, holding his fist out for either or both of Anna-Marie's kids to pound it.
