While he lay there with Shay above him he knew that his muscles were getting cold. It was the reason why when you were in the ring that your coach, sat you down on the bench and took you by the shoulders, that was where you were carrying your tension, and even though Shane looked like he was about to curl up and start snoring, he smiled up at Shay and rolled his eyes, putting his arm back on the floor.

“Take all the time you need, Valentine.” Though that last part was said on a groan as the Chaser moved to sit up, wrapping an arm around the other and stretching out his shoulder. From his current position on the floor he could look up at Lindsay who was getting chummy with the refreshment table with Sioni, T.J. who was doing her batty little ballet things, Their keeper and other chaser didn’t look as if they were in much of a mood to be joking around, but then again Sioni’s little pep talk seemed to have worked for the Hufflepuff’s spirits.

“Linds, come pull out my shoulder. Cait’s got the knobbiest knees…” He would have completed that thought, but instead he trailed off, deciding that a crack at Gryffindor side could probably wait until he was out on the pitch. Especially Caitlin.

“You do mine, I’ll do yours.” Shane called to the beater, making a move to stand up and using Shanley as his prop to do so, almost (intentionally?) putting her on her arse.  The dark haired boy just grinned at the beater and held out his hand so she could put some of that upper body strength back to work.
