For the moment it was so easy to pretend that his Da still lived and that he and Lana were still at school, albeit not in that horrid in-between stage of love and hate, and that the most pressure they had after this match would be to decide if their homework could be put off for a few hours more while they snogged themselves silly.

Or maybe something a bit more than that.

He smirked right back down at her, waggling his brows a bit and leaning in to nibble at her ear a touch, laughing outright next. "Watch out. I might just drag you, caveman style, off to some hidden spot and try out some other things if you get me too excited." Frankly, four hours into a match that seemed ready to never end was much more time than he'd planned to spend in public with this witch when she'd arrived at his home.

A frown touched his brow next as he scanned the invisible pitch. "He'd punch me in the gob for it, but I hope Derek's managing to hold himself together out there. Four hours. Bloody insane...but then, you Quidditch types are insane in general," he added.
