“And your solution to being miserable is making everyone else miserable?"

"Who said I was miserable?" she snapped at him. "I said I was bored. Pay attention." Amber rolled her eyes. Men. They were so stupid. And they thought they were so smart. But that was their problem. They didn't pay enough attention. They just assumed that they could get away with only half caring about the others aroudn them, and that their apparent smarts would get them through the moment. Merlin were they wrong. And Nigel was proving just that.

“I didn’t say that. I just… don’t like having people look over my shoulder. Orrrrrrrrr sitting so close to me. Can you give me some space to breathe?!”

Amber rolled her eyes. Men were babies too. They always were needing things. Women dealt with things or found proper solutions for them. Which she was doing now by bothering Nigel for entertainment. Men just sat there and complained and expected others to get things done for them. "You have plentyofroom to breathe," she told him, rolling her eyes.

“I’ll write you another one, and tell you what, I’ll laminate it for you. You can carry it around with you so that if you ever forget… it’ll be there.”

She could help but grin at him. Amber tapped her forehead. "I have an eidetic mind, Nigel. Just telling me once and I'll remember it." She laughed. That didn't mean she would listen though. Nigel was making a big mistake with Amber: the more you told her not to do something, the more she was inclined to do it. She didn't like being told what she could or could not do. Telling her otherwise was like daring her to try anyway. He was breaking the number one rule with her in that sense. At his ow, she punched him in the arm. The paper didn't hurt, but she was sure the punch did...or at least she hoped it did.

“No one’s chaining you to that seat. If you don’t like me, don’t talk to me.”

There he went again, assuming things. So, just to teach him a lesson in not being stupid, Amber did in fact follow him. "I never said that I didn'tlikeyou, Ijustsaid that youhad a personality flaw." Amber grinned as she again sat very close to Nigel. "Youshoudl just stop resisting," she told him.
