"The nanny needs something to do other than you."

He snorted. "I have better taste than that," he told he simply. Of course she knew that he slept with other women. It was the allowances a pureblood husband was allowed. But he had never slept with the nanny, nor would he. She just wasn't worth it. He could find someone better. Maybe for fun he would one time, but then again, Kaleb wasn't one for wasting time, and he felt that is exactly what that kind of venture would be. He would only be satisfied with her once and then he would have to dismiss her and then go through the process of finding a nanny again. It was something he just didn't want to deal with. "I thought you didn't trust her?

"I married you. I show up and look pretty whenever you need to show me off. I take care of Grace. And I can still do all of these things and teach. Having a career does not make me less of a wife or mother."

Kaleb nodded. "You're right...it wouldn't because you're not going to be doing it." Sure, he loved her tenacity at times. It was an attractive trait, but even he tired of it. Espa was too strong willed. And while he valued that kind of quality, he didn't want it in his wife. She needed to respect his authority over her, and he would break her until she learned that if needs be.

And of course she would argue with him. He sipped from his beer and raised a brow at her, though a smirk formed when she praised his quidditch abilities. "It doesn't have to be fulfilling. That's the point of being a pureblood wife." Kaleb held a hand up, "but...seeing how it's Valentine's Day," he flashed her a smile that was not as kind as it might have appeared to be, "I'll make an exception: You can play teacher, but you're not going to school, it'll be done for Charity, and I won't have any mudbloods in my home. You so owe me, darling," he said, taking her hand and giving it a kiss."
