When Gloria asked if Lisette would really go ahead of her and stake out the trophy room, the tiny Ravenclaw replied with an “Mmhmm,” almost immediately, barely having to think about it. She kind of had her heart set on it, actually. Spying had to be a mostly solitary activity if you wanted to do it right, but Lisette was a mostly solitary girl anyway, so she didn't mind a brief separation for the greater good. She thought she could identify Gloria's brothers if she had to. She made it a point to figure out who people's siblings were, since she thought hers were probably the most annoying siblings in the whole world and wanted to compare. Her sister wasn't the sort who would lure her to some weird trophy room as a prank. She was a different kind of annoying – the kind you can't quite understand unless you've lived with her for your whole life. She just smothered people, and that was worse. Gloria's brothers still seemed pretty annoying, but she'd trade her older sister for a brother who set up crazy adventures for her in an instant.

”You look first. I’ll . . . I’ll keep watch.”

Lisette looked up at Gloria and nodded. She took in a deep breath and held it to ensure that her approach was absolutely silent, just in case there was somebody in there already who was on the lookout for her friend. It was much easier to stake out a place when you had a plan, and since Lisette wasn't expecting to spy on a mystery person today and hadn't even known Hogwarts had a room for trophies until right now, she hadn't gotten a chance to learn the lay of the land. It was going to be tricky, since the trophy cases seemed sort of shiny and reflective. If she bent down just a little, though, her reflection wouldn't been an issue, since she'd be too short to even reach the glass on a few of them. If she'd come here to look at trophies it would have been frustrating, but under these circumstances the height of the cases was awesome. There were a few floor to ceiling cases, but she couldn't worry about those. She'd just have to stay cognizant of her angle.

Lisette had been extremely short her whole life, which was long enough to know that if you were far enough below eye level you were essentially invisible to anyone person of normal height who wasn't actively looking for you. The first thing she did was make her way over to one of the cases that was mounted to the wall with a few short feet of space below it, like a distended glass cube. She'd be safe to check out the space from there. It seemed to be empty, so she let herself breathe (quietly) and then gazed around critically. There was a sort of stone pillar jutting out from one of the walls that she could hide behind. Luckily, stone wasn't reflective no matter how tall a person was. Glancing quickly both ways, she hightailed it to the pillar and lodged her tiny self in the space between the pillar and the floor to ceiling case next to it, which had equally non-reflective wood paneling on the side. It was the perfect spot, mostly because there were no blind spots – if she looked up and through the glass she could see the whole room perfectly. Gloria never could have fit there. She felt like an outstanding spy. The only thing left to do was wait.
