Oh, great. First it had to be stupid Connor in the room, and then Gloria had to come in thinking she was dead or something. She knew that if there was a time to give herself up, this was it. The thing was, Lisette didn't particularly want to come out. She didn't want to have to talk to Connor, who was really mean and annoying, and she didn't want Gloria to be mad at her for screwing up. Maybe if she just kept hiding there and Connor said he didn't know what Gloria was talking about then they'd both shrug it off and forget about her... but probably not. She gave herself a moment to survey the room and see if there was anything in the world she could do that might redeem her in any small way. There were nothing but trophy cases, though. Even if she knew enough magic to accomplish something worthwhile, she couldn't get a clear shot at Connor or Gloria from her offset vantage point. Connor was probably going to be mean, and Gloria might be mad, but it was time to come out.

Lisette emerged from her little hiding spot on hands and knees, crawling until she was free from the tiny gap where she'd squished herself before rising to her full (if diminutive) height. She looked at Gloria, then glanced at Connor, then shrugged a quick little shrug, as if to say 'whoops, so much for that.'

Having outed herself as a spy, Lisette sidled up to Gloria, taking tiny, self-conscious sideways steps until she was at her side. Once she was there she tapped the taller girl on the hand and signaled for her to lean down so she could whisper to her properly. She didn't want to be overheard by the boy. “I got stuck during the stakeout,” she whispered, and then paused to glance at Connor. “Connor Young is really mean. We should just leave,” she added, even despite the fact that he looked kind of defenseless with the flowers and everything. The only thing Lisette wanted to do was escape without further incident – so they could go back to the common room and talk about what just happened.
